House chores are a part of life
whether one likes it or not. In this fast moving world, it becomes even harder
as one’s presence in various other errands is needed just as much. Technology
continues to make life easy with innovations that were not believed possible in
the past. One of these innovations is of domestic robots that are designed to
make life easier by performing these tasks for the owner.
From dishes to dry-cleaning,
mopping to lawn mowing, these robots tend to replace human labor and thus
increase the efficiency in results. This is not a new concept of computerized
houses; there are technologies like driers, remote controls, dishwashers, that
have taken place of manual house handling.
The automated carpet cleaners called
Roomba may not be a fully functioning vacuum cleaners, but they sure are much
advanced than the former machine. With the facilitation of internet
connectivity, these robots can have scheduled cleaning routines, which can be
assigned from smartphone apps. You don’t have to carry them around to their
place either, these machines return to their stations when the battery runs
out. Similar is the case with rob mowers. Even though they are not as powerful
as the manual lawn mowers, they too can have scheduled tasks and can perform
without supervision.
The task of dry cleaning also tends
to be reduced to a zero with the Swash that has the “precision for misting” and
“rapid thermal drying” and can takes as less as 10 minutes. The machine works
on different kind of fabrics and is capable of delicately handling material
like cashmere. With this technology, you don’t have to worry about odor or
wrinkles on your clothes. This slim designed robot can fit beside your closet
or even inside it. This, however, does not mean you can completely avoid a trip
to the pros since this machine is not meant to entirely replace professional
dry cleaner. It merely extends the life of your outfits.
It looks like household chores get
easier day by day and the humans have all the time to carry out other
activities without worrying about running late for work or any other event.
