Science and technology are the two
things that are continuously, and rapidly growing hand in hand. The ongoing
evolution of more interactive, state of the art innovations means there is an
even stronger connection between humans and technology. One such instance is
the invention of eye tracking system that responds to our eye movements and
follows wherever the sight goes.
Eye Tribe is a corporation that develops
a software to allow optical coordination for numerous actions on mobile
devices. With this ocular connection, you can login to your phone and steer your
device to whatever apps or sites you wish to explore just as effortlessly. The
system carries out the user interface analysis by your vectors to contemplate
the gesture of your eyes and the action you wish to perform.
The software uses an Eye Tracker to
study the position o f the eye and respond accordingly to the demand of the user.
There is a standardization for this device that is different for every
individual as there are no same eye features for all. Hence, initially the user
must allow the device to assess their eye structures in order to gain accuracy.
The process needs to be repeated every time the tracker is then moved from its
attuned location.
There are various activities that
one can perform with it which start from scrolls for reading back and forth to
using maps without having to pinch the screen for enlarging locations. From
selective attention to one out of the multiple windows, to playing games
without flexing your thumb. The software also enables the use of an onscreen
keyboard that empowers the user to type and text. With the advent of such an
innovation, it is an ease of interaction and also facilitates the physically
challenged at the same time to get through their tasks without any difficulty.
The Eye Tribe has its mission set
to excel in the technology industry and be the foremost supplier of the service
to the smart devices industrialists. The winner of the 4 Innovation Awards at
CES 2015 and a progressive demonstration of the technology for VR Headsets in
2016 marks some of the milestones of success for the brand. The continuation of
its development is remarkable and sets its foot prints in this new era of
technological progressions.
Very informative, but the problem is one can not perform all activities via eyes, it's difficult for someone to focus for a longer period he'll get tired. So what'll be the next step of this innovation. Can a disabled person use these smart devices just by thinking..!
